Interest in the R(Reuse battery)-ESS business, which transforms waste batteries into energy storage systems (ESS), is growing.
As the business model for recycling waste batteries is gaining attention due to the recent rise in raw material prices, some companies are emerging that are trying to secure profitability by combining this with demand response (DR) businesses where capacity expansion is difficult.

Jang Kwon-young, CEO of Synergy, has been appointed as this year's Star Technology Ambassador.
